STOPSO STOPSO has UK-wide independent network of professionals working with sex offenders and their families. They offer a course for family members of non-contact offences. There is also a closed email group for family and friends of all types of sexual offenders.
Acts Fast Acts Fast aims to relieve the distress of the non-offending family members affected by online and contact sexual offences. They provide crisis support by request.
Safer Lives Safer Lives works with online or technologically-assisted sexual offenders and their families. They offer private consultations and support groups for family members.
Children Heard and Seen Children Heard and Seen support children, young people and their families who are impacted by parental imprisonment. They strive to support their needs, listen to their concerns, and have their views heard and reflected in policy. Affect AFFECT (Action For Families Enduring Criminal Trauma) are a group of people who currently have, or have had, a family member in prison. Family Rights Group A national charity that advises parents, grandparents, relatives and friends about their rights and options when social workers or courts make decisions about their children’s welfare. They work with parents whose children are in need, at risk or are in the care system and with wider family members and friends who are raising children (known as kinship carers).
